It's killing me not being able to post any pics while on vacation, but I will definitely post the pics when I get home.
6 more hours in the water between yesterday and today - 5:30am to 8:30am both days.
Yesterday's only good find was a beautiful sterling St. Florian medal on a long sterling chain.
This morning I found an white gold or silver band with yellow gold section mounted to it. The inside of the silver colored band is marked 950 and 18k, but I don't know if that is for both the band and the yellow gold mounted piece.
I also found a vintage looking woman's 14k gold ring with a black oval stone, and on top of the stone (which is unfortunately cracked) is a small gold setting holding a small diamond.
This brings my ring total over the last 4 mornings (12 hours total detecting time) to 9. 4 gold, 1 platinum, and 4 silver.
I still have over a week left of vacation, so I hope to add to the treasure bag.
Happy hunting,
Jim
