Introducing myself-new to the site

Hi everyone! I'm new to the site and thought I would just jump in and introduce myself. I've been panning for gold in the local rivers and waterways for a number of years and though I have mostly found magnetite, I consider it a treasure to have the experience of chilling by the water and having an excuse to get outside. I have used a metal detector, but it never yielded anything particularly interesting though I can see the allure! I have been following some big national treasure hunts like Forest Fenn's treasure and The Secret (a treasure hunt) and have been caught up in the fascination of being the one to crack the code and I figured that joining this site might allow me to discuss those treasure hunts as well as learning what others are doing as the use their metal detectors and get out and adventure!
