Interview About My Artifact Collection

15,000 pieces??? Holy cow, that is amazing!!!

Steve, in one part of the interview you said that you bring home every worked piece of flint - what do you do with them once you are home?

I thought it was a great interview and very informative. Thanks so much for sharing it with us!

I really enjoyed the article. Its things like this that help out hobby. Puts a really good perspective on the aspects of hunting. Good job Steve. I remember you posting some of those pictures when you found things. Saw your Dad out in the field as well. Thanks for sharing the link.

Very nice article and collection sir..... :icon_thumright:

I have a small collection myself with a few nice pieces in a spare bedroom. I also use to have the glass display cases like you, but sold 3 of them when I found the 8 foot wooden bookcase I use now. I still have one lighted revolving display case with 15 shelves full, and an antique curio cabinet I use for most of my stone axes. I still have several boxes with points in my closet. Point hunting in the creeks and fields is the one thing I relly miss about Missouri.....

Thanks for posting the link Steve. I was very pleased with the finished product. I knew you would do a good job with the questions, but you exceeded my high expectations. The interview is going to reach a lot of people who don't know anything at all about the hobby. You explained it in an entertaining way that will remain in the memory of readers.

Excellent interview & seeing your collection Steve is mind blowing.
Thanks for the link.

Molly.

D Fish.... Most impressive collection and a good read.
I was/am one of those cowboys' and indians types. Trying to change my unsophisticated, boorish ways. Live and learn. My biggest problem is trying to cram another gallon of knowledge into an already full 5 gallon bucket. Something inevitably spills out. What the heck was my name anyway? :icon_scratch:
keep posting the good stuff!
