Hello friends,

I have a story for you:

I am a college student who resides in a fraternity. I love finding silver anytime and anywhere, but I never thought that I could find it on my campus, let alone in my house.

That being said, I was eating dinner the other night with some buddies, when I went to go grab a fork. The fork I grabbed was this. ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1476286096.765409.jpg

I thought to myself, "wow this one sure has a weird color to it" so I checked the back and saw this

I quickly cleaned it off and ran upstairs to grab a personal spoon to trade for it :)

Happy hunting!

Nice find.

I think that is the same pattern my family had when I was growing up!

To be fair, you should contact the head master, Dean, guy with the paddle, or whoever, and return it immediately.
Nah.
Rummage through the rest of the drawer, and keep us posted!

Kinda makes you wonder if a fellow student didn't bring a "packed lunch" from home and forgot to take his home brought fork back with him! :laughing7:

Nothing better than finding silver at your own kitchen table.

And then you went straight to the cutlery drawer to check for more right? Lol.

Theft is theft! You can't talk your way out of it. If you condone or joke about it, you are just as guilty.

It's bad enough that I have to beg for permissions when people like you tarnish the hobby of "Metal Detecting"!

Karma is a *****!

NEEEEEEEEEEEEEETTTTTTTTTTTTTT .....

Oh good grief man! I'm guilty because I saw a funny side to it am I? Grow up pal!

To continue! I sincerely hope you denigrated all the other folk on this site who also found it humorous! And, I might add! That I've posted on many a site the correctness of the statement "he was very honest" or " I'm quite honest" honestly doesn't come in degrees! One is either honest or they aren't! You can't be a little bit honest! How dare you judge me when you know nothing about me! I've retuned three rings to their owners this year and tried to find owners of many others over the years, HOW ABOUT YOU! Do I call you a thief because you keep everything you find! Don't judge others and you won't be judged yourself. Man! You've set yourself up high on a bar mate! You disgust me!

cool that you eyeballed that silver. i need start checking when i eat at people's houses! :laughing7:

def check the other utensils. people you are around prob have no idea what real silver is and be just as happy with plastic utensils.

Be careful you are not labeled a thief as I was for saying something like "I bet you went back and checked the cutlery drawer" I was labeled a thief because I found the comment humorous. I've only been on this site a short while but thinking of leaving if that's what you get for finding something funny.

Ok this is funny. If you read his post he went and grabbed a personal spoon to trade for a FORK? LOL seems like someone will know their fork is gone if a spoon is in it's place.

I won't get into ethics or right and wrong. I just thought it was comical.

Now that is a sweet find I would offer to wash dishes for the next week looking for more Good job!!!!
