Anyone know the use for this piece. It does not apper to have been modified. Looks to have been made this way. Have not been able to find anything on the net.

Lettering says; Wm. A. Rodgers A1

Length is 4 1/4 in.

Is not a dug item. Came from a junk box.

Thanks for the quick ID. Did some searching and found the exact one in a recent auction that sold for $26. Not bad for pulling it out of a junk box.
