Richard Evans book The Third Reich At War is an interesting book about the German involvement in World War Two. It can be a bit dry in some locations, but the overall book is very good. I highly recommend it.

Never read that one yet, but I did read The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich, by William Shirer.

The best book was Hitler: A Study in Tyranny, by Alan Bullcok
