Found this little guy in a nickel roll today. On one side it reads "acceptable only at the president casino on the admiral" with a 5¢ in the center and then on the other side it reads "president casino on he admiral" and " st. Louis, mo" with another 5¢ mark. Interesting little slot machine token maybe?

Anybody in the Midwest know about this casino? Is it still around? Is this an old token?

Cheers!

Just googled this casino and it looks like it actually closed down a few years ago...that would mean they probably dont make these things anymore. Hmmm

I grew up in St Louis and lived there until age 12. There was a river boat on the Mississippi at that time named Admiral. Probably around 1968 I went on it with my parents. It wasn't a casino at that time that I noticed but maybe a little kid would miss that part of it. Or it could have been repurposed later.

That's awesome. I will have to research this river boat. I would bet it was later turned into a casino. The article I found made it sound like it was closed for good in 2010 and the boat was removed...didn't read on to find out why.
