Just came across this interesting news video (at the link) of the "new gold rush" created by winter storms. Of note...besides the nice shot of recent gold nuggets found...is the fact that the woman mentions hearing from the workers on the Oroville dam actually seeing the gold nuggets, I'm assuming on the ground/bedrock as they were working.
