I have not posted in some time due to misc projects going on. But I have been able to get out from time to time. Did find a couple of rings in some salt water on the coast and a small pc of gold in a rock. The Admiral Dewey medallion and the Remember the Maine medal were found several miles apart just in days of each other, kind of strange. The trade token and large cent was way cool for me. Found lots of brass hooks etc and ton's of wheats just to come up with a few pcs of sliver. One of the sites I hit was a house in Tacoma. The owner was outside so decided to stop and talk. Turns out he needed some help in putting some pipe under a sidewalk so I went home and got some tools and helped him. He told me to detect anytime, so I came back when it wasn't so dry and found the Netherlands 25¢ pc, the Barber dime and the Rosie. There maybe more there but I pounded the place 4 or 5 times. No that it is really wet, I may go back. Anyway, I will try to post as I find rather then so many at once.

Like your finds! The variety is great! The cleanup on the ring looks fantastic, congrats on some good hunting!

I love the medals, just be careful not to rub the silver...

Nice finds Mc. I lived in Tacoma on L Street for 24 years. Once in the early 80's, I borrowed a cheapie detector from a guy at work and did my yard. I owned a house that was built in 1900. Found 2 Indians and a buff right off plus some foreign coins. It was years later before I got into detecting like now, but that day was the impetus for it. Wish I could redo that yard now. But Maui is ok for the beach stuff. HH

Tacoma does have a lot of older homes that are still just waiting to be hunted...You just gotta ask! Water hunting in Maui...nice, I'm trying to go to HNL next month for a couple of days of hunting the beach so we shall see how that goes! Thanks for sharing.

I agree, very nice assortment :headbang:

Sweet gold nugget in matrix! The silver whet's my whistle, but the ring is quite nice too: citrine, perhaps?

I like the cufflink but that ring is really sweet. congrats
