interesting find...maybe!

I hope I didn't double post this. Found this in Tuolumne County California while gold panning. To me the grooves appear to be man-made but I could be wrong. I thought it was worth at least getting some opinions. It's hard to tell from the pics, But on one side it's a bluish color.
