I’ll start off with the clad

Then we have the odd ball find. First thing I thought was I found someone’s stash.

Here’s what I found after investigation

I went down to photograph the sunrise, but of course took the F5 with me. I may post a sunrise picture further down the thread. I still have to edit them.

So funny, I'd put one of my finds in it and write, pass it on, and put it back... HA,HA

Well tried to upload a picture but it didn't work. Just disappears

Oh heck yeah, I would do it too. Man that is really cool.

Please keep us posted.

Well apparently I won a Franklin half dollar for finding it.

Yea, about 20 feet from where you enter the beach at 9th. I was hitting the top edge of where the high tide stopped since the tide was still on the way out. That section of beach is missing a good 3 to 4ft of sand.

Thats a really cool idea. kinda like a Geocache but with a Metal Detecting Twist..
Awesome Find.. Congrats..

The sand on that island is always shifting plus they are always bringing in truck loads of sand to replace the washed out stuff

Boy,, finding stuff like that makes detecting really interesting. You just never know what you're going to find under the coil

Congratulations on the half dollar. You should play it forward.
