So about a week ago I detected at a school yard. I found a wheat penny, some clad, and this earring...

Today I went back to the school yard to detect more. I was about 150 yards away from the spot I found the earring, and then found this...

Found the matching earring lol. What crazy random luck is that? The school yard is hugeee, I can't believe I found this. What are the odds...

I then decided to detect a piece of lawn near a jungle gym and found the largest coin dump I've seen yet. The area measures about 15ft x 15ft and it's just completely littered with coins. Unfortunately, they are all modern but still neat to find. A kid must have literally johnny-appleseeded his piggy bank. When you swing your MD in this area, the signals go off the charts in the copper to silver range. I detected about half the area and had to stop because of back-pain. With the exception of 3 coins, all the coins pictured were found in half this area. I also found what seems to be a cub scouts pin. Can anyone confirm this? Pretty interesting day, even without finding any silver. HH!

You've had an awesome detecting day! It is rare to find a pair of earring! Looks like your the first to detect that spot. HH and may your next find be gold!
