Interesting button, ID ??

Here are a couple photos of an interesting two-piece button a friend and member of the local Metal Detecting club I belong to recovered.

It really cool design, it may be religious related. Looks like a chalice in the center with a design similar to a tiara design with hearts or leaves. In the background there are crude etchings of to me what looks like house shapes on the left side and the right side and a design on the top.

Only have two pictures right now. Size of the button is between a dime and nickel. I know there’s millions of buttons out there but hopefully someone can identify this one. I believe it is very old and came from a very old property of the early 1800s.
