interesting bullet

Found this bullet on land that dates back to the 1700's it looks like a civil war era bullet but i don't think its lead. Any ideas?

My first thought is it is not CW period. It kinda has that .45-70 look to it,but without measurements it's hard to tell

Thankyou it seemed modern. And it has a seam along the side. The previous owner of the home i detected worked as a gun maker he probally made it himself
