I'm pretty sure the LC is a draped bust LC 1796-1807. I've never seen a bell like this one. Anyone have any info?

I've found that this is called a claw bell. Found in a wooded area in PA.

I've never seen one like that before. Very interesting. Nice finds!

cool bell. I think that's the first of that type I've seen posted

WOW ! that is a cool bell.
Would like to see a little closer view, can you crop out all background, it will make the find itself much bigger.
Been looking at the title for awhile, but busy, glad I "clicked"
I do like bells in general, and this is one I haven't seen, very cool indeed.

I will look for a better pic. hope you post one.

Thank You gforce, I do like bells, and that has got to be one of the most unusual ones I have ever seen.

Very cool, decorated, and as not seen one before, probably rare ?

Nice find. I'd like it, and be proud of it.

I wouldn't say 'rare'. They have a great look, as they are hand finished but with Indian labour they are still mass produced at low cost.
