Insurance for coins sold on ebay

I have a question.

What shipping services can you use to insure the coins you sell? UPS? USPS? I have $500 face of Ikes that I sold on ebay and want to make sure that they are insured during shipment. I have heard that UPS can't insure coins? Is that true?

I always ship coins via USPS. They allow you to insure things for a reasonable fee. They'll always try to get you to send things priority mail too, but most of the time you don't need it. If the mail is only going a state or 2 over, it'll arrive there faster than priority most of the time I've found

I'm not sure about UPS, but I just sent $700 worth of coins for grading via US Mail. They insured them for the full amount and it didn't cost more than a couple bucks.
