instrument plate

i found this out in the fields, could it be a part from an airplane-instrument? each hole is carefully machined, on one side it has a mark "49" , on the back near the pin a "g" is stamped. the small part was the only other part lying around at that spot.
i know that in ww2 an airplane crashed near this place (near triemen/friesland/netherlands)

looks like the inside of a Watch or more like Clock
considering its size.

I suppose it could be an airplane Instrument

I have found one that looks identical, mine was the side of an old brass/copper fishing reel.
