I can't believe that each of the metal detector manufactures don't make an inline probe for their own machines. I have one on my fisher f70 (its a sun ray) and wish I had one for my xterra 70. I was thinking of buying an etrac but I hear sun ray no longer makes a probe for them. I don't understand why the different brands wouldn't make one for each of their machines. I think they would sell very well, as everyone now carries a hand held. I still carry my vibra probe but seldom use it. The availability of a probe would sell me a detector.

The inline definitely spoils ya, doesn't it! :icon_thumright:

It sure would be interesting to see one on the X-Terra, and also the CTX 3030!

Its the #1 thing I miss when hunting with the CTX and the Deus. Sometimes I grab my son's Etrac instead just because of the X1. I keep hoping that maybe Coiltek will pick up the ball and capture this market???

We need to get together for a hunt sometime!

...If you check out Detector Pros ... Uniprobe pin Pointer .... you would find out that it works with any detector.. www.detectorpro.com .. uniprobe1.jpg

know anything about them? they don't seem real popular and the few reviews I've read aren't real impressive.

Im just curious why the different brands don't offer their own inline. Seems like a no brainer to me

I personally love a Garrett ProPointer. Once plug has been dug, I need no further readings. The in-lines also create weight and an additional cord.
If only Garrett would fully waterproof the ProPointer!
Peace
