Hi all found this in a sealed of part of my grandma's basement more else a crawl space, home built around 1869. i don't have a clue to how old it may be, but it says the following: CARTER'S 7 1/2 MADE IN USA...........................

now i think that's cool finding something like that , and it not even broken or anything................

ill spent the better part of tonight with my MD under the living room where there used to be a porch no telling what I'll find

It is not hand blown. At Most it is machine made with an applied lip. Early 20th c. is my guess. Cool find. :icon_thumleft:

A machine wouldn't have. There is no pontil scar on the bottom, which would've indicated a blown bottle. The lopsidedness is why I suggested that it might have an applied or tooled lip.

Happy Reading!
