Made a couple of short hunts to the fairgrounds recently and had a little luck. on the first trip I snared a very small and very old silver ring, it came from about 8 to 9 inches down. At that depth it would have to be at least turn of the century since most of the coins I dig that deep are in that time period. The following trip I decided to stop at the local pioneer cemetary, I wanted to hunt around the outside edge of it where I think they might have parked thier wagons and horses to attend funerals. One small area I came upon must have been in use alot for that reason as I found 3 very nice shape indianheads. The area where they all came from was maybe 10 feet wide and 40 feet long. The dates of the indians are as follows 1896,1902,1906. I also got 5 wheaties that I did'nt take pics of ranging from 1910 to 1952. I will try to keep getting out till the ground is frozen and I hope others are doing the same. I am planning to go to Wisconsin for Thanksgiving and taking the detector along to see what I can dig up in the great white north! lol Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving with your loved ones and may god bless and keep you all!

Great IH's, Jack, but that ring is way sweet. Nice job!

I can see that once the ground is frozen you will be even harder to live with than me!
What a great collection of coins and rings you have found since you started using that procoil!

You have that zen thing going. You have become one with your machine!

Great digs! That ring is very nice!

Good Luck,
Mark
