Cleared some branches from an overgrown cellar hole. Found pieces broken stoneware jug, I will go back to dig around look for more pieces to hopefully put it back together.

In the cellar hole all I detected was a lot of iron square nails and This really cool broach? It has an 11 inch stem pin with a K initial. Cleaned up nicely with lemon juice I believe it’s copper or brass. Anyone have any idea what it is and what it was used for? Estimated age?

The key and the late 1800s gin bottle were found approx 20-30 yards from the cellar hole in different spots.

Information regarding the pin/broach would be appreciated.

Thanks for looking

Looks like a sweet hat pin DD. I'm liking the bottle you dug.

A hat pin? Wow I’ll google it. Thanks LD !! Bottle is cool, found one from the 20’s once, different style. This one is more pre1910 I believe, but someone can correct me if I’m wrong.

Thanks man
