My mom gave me these points that were my grandfathers (who passed away a few years ago). She knew I would appreciate them. Not sure where he found them, but he did grow up on the Utah/Arizona border. I figure he picked these up there when he was a kid. Any ideas on the typology?
I can't tell real well from the photos. Does the larger has a rhomboid cross section?
It appears to me to be maybe have a beveled edge. I think it would be an archaic knife.
The smaller triangular point a later period point. Possibly a true arrowhead versus a perforator or could have been used as a drill tip of a bow drill. Hard to say from the images.
