Trying to classify 2 arrowheads my wife found in a tin soap box given to her by her Grandma. Roots go back to Wisconsin where these were possibly found or after moving to California. Using Overstreet’s Guide, I’m calling the green one Current River or Sequoyah. I don’t have a clue on the larger light tan one. I’m new at this so help is appreciated. 07918FA7-8677-4D40-A305-4975EEAFC1AF.jpeg5D2BA4E5-D106-4727-BB9B-4A6580C8E41A.jpeg

I'd call the first one a Meadowwood. WI is in their range on the western fringe. Here's a Meadowwood. Not sure on the other one. Maybe late archaic or woodland??? Gary

Thanks for the views, likes, and replies everybody. Did a little more looking at the green point and think the material is Jade. On the larger tan colored point, I couldn’t find a good match in the North Central region in Overstreet’s guide. The longer stem was just not matching anything. The wife suggested I look at the next region to the east of Wisconsin since her Grandma lived in eastern Wisconsin (Caledonia). Sure enough I found a great match size and description wise - McIntire. Not sure of the material though.

Not jade. Jade doesn't chip like flint. You have to grind it. Gary

Okay thanks for the info. Any idea what the material could be?
