This was found by the home owner at one of my permissions. It has 1876-1776 stamped on it with what looks to be either lady liberty or Batman in the center. My thinking is it may have been a novelty item at the time of the nations centennial anniversary. Looks like it maybe be made to slip over a shirt or coat button?? Any info would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bob
It was found in the ground at around 8” on an old New England farm.
