Haven't been out much lately. But after a couple of days drooling over the great finds posted lately like the GW buttons and some nice gold " the Itch " was getting pretty bad. So I went for a couple of hours to a spot that I haven't been to in months. It's been hit pretty hard over the years I'm sure. In the past I've pulled out a few nice points, a few bottles and coins and old wick adjusters but not much else. But I always have this feeling that something is still there. Ever have that feeling?

Well it's sure not the " mother load " , but maybe next time.

Supe nice Confederate button. Congrats on a great find.

What is the back mark?? That is a fantastic Script I. Would love to have one like that in my collection. Mine are plow struck. Nice find.

This one is " S. Isaacs Campbell & Co. ". It's a really nice one. Most of the buttons that I find are toast and very brittle. I'm surprised at the shape this one is in.

When you say this one is S, do you mean the letter on the front :icon_scratch: just a bit curious that's all, not knowing a lot about this type. The letter is infact the letter I, written in Black Letter (old English).

SS, Thanks for looking at my post and your curiosity. But, you may have misunderstood that the "S" is in reference to
"S. Isaacs Campbell &Co.", which was my response to ynpto804's question about the back mark. I thought that maybe I should have titled my post "Script I Button". That is a nice looking Old English letter "I" on that button don't ya think?
