Hello all!

Went back to my newly found sweet spot that has already produced my first Buffalo and Mercury. Thought I had hit the spot hard already, but was hoping for some more.

My daughter and I left the truck, and within 10 feet, we find this beauty!

We walk another 10 feet, and we find this!

After finding some other great wheats, I was traveling down the dirt road where I found my first buffalo. I got a great signal at one point, but had a terrible time finding it. I must have had a hole 6 inches by 6 inches dug, when I noticed this gorgeous thing sitting on the side of the dirt pile! My first ever 1800's coin.. My first Indian... WOW!

Later that night, I went back to the field, but where I found all these coins, there was a group playing softball, so I searched the field away from them for awhile. Yet again, another first. My first Ring. It says on the inside PW, which I am assuming mean pewter. It also has a number.. something like 575. Not sure what that means.

What a great weekend full of firsts! Thanks for looking all!

I agree with GRB, that ring looks sterling infact it looks like a sterling marcasite ring..those lil stones sparkle right? and the coins are great..I would be pounding that area to death.. wtg big time

awesome finds, the indian is a great one for sure!

Might be 975 for Sterling, but either way nice coins and sweet ring!

Thanks everyone! I will have to buy a loop to take a closer look at that ring. Could actually be worth more than a buck!

Thanks!

Very nice coins you found, hard to come by .
Thanks for sharing
