Indians and Silver

[Diggin Dude]

I haven't been out as much as I'd like to be due to lower back issue but I still managed to get out a few time the last couple weeks and found some keepers I thought I'd post.

Results from NYC Parks, found my first "fatty" Indianhead penny 1863, didn't clean up very well, also a 1880 IHP.



During the hunt I thought I found a coin coin! My heart started racing when I saw the bust on the coin that I did not recognize, but it just ended up being a modern French coin from 1982 LOL



Another hunt produced two keepers, a couple of silver Washington Quarters, 1941 and 1943s

You did well even with back problems and I can sympathize with you, anyway congrats on your 41/43 silver quarters - 1863/1880 IH's - French coin and other finds - one good post and thanks for sharing it with us & I wish you many more treasures while out dirt fishin.

REAL Nice DD!!! A very successful hunt

My back takes an hour to stop aching when I get up. Have to watch my movements too - it's those little odd movements that can throw it out - then I'm down - hasn't happened in a while. Walking alot, and general fitness, helps the most.

Ya i've gotten a little too excited a while back when i unearthed a Euro....gold colored.
