I went to one of my spots today hoping to find some silver. I did one better and came out with some gold. I not sure what it is. The two curved peices where attached to the black piece where I have them laying in the one picture. I am not sure where the ring went. There is no marking on it but it sure looks like gold too me. It disced out on my Vaquero one line above iron. When I got home I checked it on my XLT , it rang up 10. Right in the foil ring range where small gold should be. I found 4 Indians that cleaned up nice for a change. I found two in one hole and two in another hole. the years are 1883 86 1900 03. The round green thing is a toasted button missing the shank. someone most have gotten stoned and forgot there bowl , I found it next to a rock that would have made a nice seat. The tiny little ring isnt anything special but it cleaned up nicely. I always like finding rings even if they arent gold or silver!

Congratualtions on the nice old coin shooting and jewelry! :occasion14:

so i think its a ring the two curved pieces attached to the black piece. the other tiny gold ring i found in the same hole as all the pieces has me baffled i dont know where it would have tied into it. thanks everyone!!

Your right John the 2 curved pieces tie to the black one, to form a ring.... the other ring, is just separate.... I have found 2 rings in the same hole before....

Nice hunt!! Well done, congrats and HH
