Nope it's not Indian. It a sandstone type material with bands of harder material in the matrix which leaves the distinct banding seen here as it erodes. These pop up occasionally in upstate SC. Often mistaken for artifacts.

Sorry, I should have added that kind of info. Not metal, more like fine cinder block type material.
