I found this while walking on an old, old farm, pre revolutionary war. This stone struck me as very peculiar. Somebody suggested it could have been an Indian carving stone? Any ideas?
Could very well be a stone that was around at the same time as the "indians". And the mastodons, tyranosaurs and the trilobites as well. A stone has perminance all wrapped up. ;-)
i don't see any evidence of native american use. i would post it in the North American Indian Artifacts forum here for more input, not sure those guys look in this forum to often.
