Indian machete

found an old machete at a rummage sale, it is very worn, the blade is hand made, the sheath has indian design on it, looks like deer or some other animal hide used to make it. I would love to find out any history about it and it's worth if any.

sheath and handle looks modern to me, only the blade looks old but that's easy to reproduce
