I can hardly believe it! Last week we had snow all over and the ground was frozen solid. Then, the other night, it rained most of the night. The snow was all gone and the temps hit close to 60.
So I was able to go out detecting in shirt sleeves and found my first Indian head of the season.
Now they are forcasting yet another winter storm. :'(

That one popped out very nice! Congrats!

Great looking coin.

Glad to hear you can get out comfortably now.

Let's hope cold weather brings the treasures closer to the surface during the winter. :D

Wow! Nice Indian. It is exceptional for a dug coin. Looks lit it will go XF + to me. I just haven't had time to get out at all yet this year, even though we have had some nice weather. We had snow yesterday, but that is unusual for here in our part of NE Oregon this late in the year. It didn't stick. My time factor should change dramatically as of next Wednesday.

very nice indian -- before long the weather will be perfect. I actually had to take my coat off today! 8)

Say that indian was lost in 1884 or close to it. WTG when you find a coin you don't mess around. HH Burdie

Great lookin' coin bk..and on the first day out....hope it's a good year for everyone here...HH!!

BK,
Wow, what fantastic shape the coin is in. The pictures are fantastic as well. I struggle everytime I try to get a good close up. I just bought a new camera but I have not got the down load driver to work yet.

Great find and good luck finding more,

Smartin
