Got out for a bit in the woods with DP Bob & WC. Was it ever muddy! I grabbed a '24 wheat, an old knife, fork, and spoon (different styles), and two Indians. The 1881 is somewhat pitted, but the 1887 is in great shape.
They were hiding between a tree and some rusty iron that was about 11 inches from the tree. That's why previous hunters missed them, I suppose.
No pics of the silverware this time. After I cleaned the Indians, it was dinnertime. I was using a chef knife to cut the meat I had grilled and cut down into my fingy. Nothing a butterfly & some gauze wouldn't close, but I don't want to get it wet or dirty.
