it turns out my favorite spot saw inhabitited by indians,, its woodsy, no rivers, or lots of rocks like i see in some pics here,, i would love to find a point !!!! there is a pond,, any help would be appreciated on maybe a place to start,,,

i believe most of your NA long term camps will be near water. near is vague at best. how far would you make your woman walk for water every day? some have been know to be 5 miles from the nearest river. i would say keep your searches within a hundred or so yards of flowing water. ponds and lakes make for nasty drinking water...gl
