Hello everybody I'm new here. This artifact fits in your hand perfectly and it leaves sharpened edges on both ends of your hand I'm just not sure if it's a tool or to cut hide maybe or if it's a weapon of some sort has anyone ever seen anything like this?View attachment 1583500[/ATTACH] you

Rock in the picture does not have anything saying artifact.

Don't fall into the mistaken thought that if something fits your hand it is an artifact, that is the biggest mistake new artifact hunters make. Any rock small enough to fit in a hand doesn't make it an artifact, it is simply the wonder of the human hand is all.

Maybe you didn't catch it but the edges are sharp there's no way that this is natural. I found for arrowheads and numerous axes knives, and grinding tools on the same area

Quality of photo does not allow " catching" anything.
What is the material? Looks like antler if I must guess. That really matters.
Though antler reduced on an end by abrasion will not be a cutting tool except maybe clay. Pith in center is soft ,so a curve would show as it erodes.

If it is stone ,is it polished into shape? When cutting tools are often knapped faster than abrading or pecking , why use polish method?

It is almost but is not shaped like a handle for a crooked knife. Handle ,not blade.

Get your hand / fingers ,cat ,doily out of the picture. Take close up of ends and edges from multiple sides and include a common coin for size reference.

Context matters too.

I don't see a purpose made tool. Or weapon. If it shows crafting and use wear from hands ,The pic does not show it.

The picture provided does not give any detail showing it as an artifact.
