100 paise = 1 rupee
that's a 10 Naye Paise coin and the last year they made them like that I believe. here is a link:

Thats a 10 paise coin.
100 paise make 1 rupee
just like 100 cents make one dollar
1 dollar is equal to 45 indian rupees so 10 paise is more like 1/450 dollars.
It is very common here and so its max value is about 2 rupees INR i.e. 1/22.5 Dollars.
