My banner vote AARC, congratulation, so delighting to see a 2012 pull tab in such mint condition, a collector for sure.

I am sending this one in to be graded and slabbed ! ! !

Ring pull! Reminds me of the show detectorists, "people buy this crap on eBay"

Do you think it is sliver or white gold ?

It has a mark... I am searching feverishly to find a maker.

Looks to be an early Mountain Dew variety :P

I was a SOLID tone... man it was screamin...

Toook a scoop... and saw the glimmering from the suns rays shining of it...

I dropped in amazement...
Then had to detect it again... fearing it lost... I used all my tools available and even used my neck like an ostrich to retrieve this amazingly beautiful example !

Are you nuts... it is probably made of 100% pure aluminium... remember, gold sounds like aluminium BUT it is not aluminium... this pull tab is made of aluminium, that's why you ha ve my banner vote and every should click on "nominate banner" the little red button on top of the thread.

A seagull was watching... wanting it... I know it... I could see it in its eyes.

I was gonna chime in with a smart a$$ remark...

but I got nothing...

Thankyou for posting, its just beautiful. Congratulations!

I dropped to my knees upon this discovery and began weeping.

Hard.

I think it maybe best if you delete this post, the state of Florida will now be over taken with snow birds looking for the other of the matching set.

Are you feeling inadequate???!!!! - Friendly Metal Detecting Forums

At first... All I heard was small "blip"... then all of a sudden my headphones were screaming so loud that lifeguards thought it was a distress signal...

It registered 300 in my readout...

Then smoke began coming from my detector... and it was vibrating... To the point of my coil almost digging the hole.

The first scoop had nothing but crusty bottle caps...
The second scoop was nothing but nails...
The third scoop were handful of those Spanish coins...

THEN thar she was. !
