In your CRH career, how many boxes of quarters have you done?

Please, if you have done any, post results, skunk rate and finds!!! Not only will this help me out since I am seriously considering my first quarter box, but it will also benefit other fellow CRH'ers on this forum.

Pictures would be a bonus for any nice scores on quarter boxes.

Of the quarter boxes done recently, are there a lot of national park quarters out there? I have only gotten 4 in circulation in the years they've been out in circulation and would like to finish up a set from circulation at FV.

Your answers are greatly appreciated, thanks for any posts.

If you strictly mean boxes, very few. I do about 60 to 70 $500 bags of loose every year. I average about 2 silver per 5 bags. Never had more than 3 in a bag and quarters is the only common coin, I haven't had a dream score or at least a really good score on.

Average about 1 per $2000 searched. All bags . I have found more Canadian silver than USA in quarters

national park quarters - about 10 per bag .

1 silver in 4 boxes and 1 $1000 bag

ordered one box just to try. it was filled with mostly state quarters. no silver. did not order anymore.

did 2 boxes of quarters so far (and 3 dimes). Theyre easy to search because they are plastic sleeves, so you can scan the box in less than 5 minutes if you're only looking for silver and not rares. Quarters are probably the most commonly used coin though and have been touched the most, hence there low find rate from what i've read. Seems like people have more luck with dimes than quarters. The biggest plus is the speed in searching and they're easy to dump because banks go through lots of quarters.

I don't really do "boxes" but I search about $400 a week from washers and dryers. Usually find about 1 silver for every $1-2K I search. I find that the national park quarters seem to be very concentrated. For example, 1 machine might have a whole roll's worth of national park quarters and the rest might not have any.

I had no idea the park quarters were so hard to find.

I bought 4 rolls of quarters, and I swear, half of them were park quarters. The other half was state. I dumped them all after finding nothing.

I've been getting clear rolls quite often, usually 2 at a time, but two weeks ago, I bought $100 worth.

Nuttin' but skunks since day 1.

I have never done a quarter box. I have though about it but with so many here saying that quarter done give up silver very often I have just skided doing them for now. I been sticking with the halfs and dimes for now and every now and then do a nickel box when I am out of halfs and dimes.....Matt

I haven't done enough quarter boxes to get a good idea but i'm averaging about 1 silver for every 2 boxes searched. I've only searched Brinks and never found more then 1 in a box.
