in the water

Went for my first water hunt of the season, nothing to spectacular to find but I figured it was early in the season. While hunting a local lake swimming area I was surprised to see two other guys in the water metal detecting!, I rarely see any other people out there metal detecting let alone somebody in the water. While talking to one of the guys I found out he goes a couple times during the week to the local swimming holes, I guess will have to get up earlier!

Did you tell that that you stop hunting that
local lake, in July, because of the nasty
bacteria that builds up by that time.

Nice bunch of finds you got there. I've been wanting to try water detecting, but haven't yet.
Any leaches on you when you got out? I remember Wisconsin as a kid, and they had leaches the size small eels! Great bait though.
