Wheeler Triangle
Probably the oldest I have ever found. Made from a quartzite that is stained from a creek. I’d clean it off but I’m not sure exactly what’s underneath.
Finally getting some rain to now I just need a day off next week.

I think it’s the salt and pepper quartzite but I’m not that interested in knowing and am leaving the stain on. Helps show the age

It’s thin too. Quartzite must of been some of the easiest stuff to work from raw state before they found out about heat treatment.
