Yes,

That is beautiful man. The patina is just what you want. I dug out some colonial buttons this week and they cleaned up just like that. It doesn't get much better than that.

Did you put wax on it I get out all my plates and give them a good coat of Renaissance wax once a year or so.. seems to really help.. the first ones I dug began to crack around the edges after a few years but the ones I have waxed since they came out of the ground do not seem to have cracked.. or very little if they did..

I just used a Q-tip with a little olive oil on it, really brought out the dark green patina.
