Those are pretty! I have yet to find one, except when we went to Arkansas last summer, to the diamond mine. We stopped at this place where Indians lived the land and they had a small part of the field where they planted recent made arrowheads for school kids to find.

Well, I found one! But they said, it wasn't one they buried...I actually found a real old one!! I got to keep it too! My first one! They said when they turn up the soil, sometimes it will pull a real one up every now and then! Mine is broken a bit, but I don't care...it was my first one!!!

I prob have passed over many of them, esp walking along streams, now I have to keep my eyes to the ground better!!

Great finds,
Annmarie

nice FF! that is one nice little point...i have been on a bad streak lately....i did find a buffalo nickle the other day though

Nice finds, John.
What material is the first point, Novaculite, cause it sure looks like it?
Also, is it pink? cause I like pink points..lol.

Molly.

Not real sure on the material, but i believe it to be a high grade heat treated burlington. Thanks for the comments. My buddy finaly took me to one of his spots(bout time John M, LOL) and I found this about 20 secounds after we steped into the field. He was pissed, and it was the only whole point found. After the hunt we were walking the edge of the field back to the truck, (side by side) I found 2 broken ones dead in his foot prints(where he had hunted). I pointed out the secound point,( I said look there is another one you missed). He reached down and picked it up and threw it as far as he could, it was a broke anyway. I thought he was gonna leave me out there. LOL I gave him a bunch of crap about it, God it was Funny. I ended up giving him everything I found cause I felt bad bout razing him so bad. Thanks again for looking. John P.S John M, If your reading this, you must have got you some glasses..... Hee HEE LOL Haaa HAA

No dollar-zero didnt try, Hmm I tell my bud to see if they fit. thanks John

Troy thanks for remembering us old coots. I spent 4 years at Whiteman AFB, was The First Sergeant for the 352ND Missile outfit and my troops would occasional find points and bring them to me. Mo. is rich in ancient artifacts.

Great find!!! I wish I had a day like that. Its been a while
