Found this quarter the other day in a roll.

Not only missing the T, but it's missing the G as well.

You can slightly see the letters under a loop.

Any idea on a value of this error? Does the missing G do anything for the value over just missing the T?

If the coin hasnt been tampered with by previous people it could be an error. If it is real it could be a struck through grease error. this happens when grease from another part of the machine that makes them, ends up on the die. This plugs the die in some spots keeping it from making the full impression.

That's pretty cool, a keeper either way you look at it.

I think the mint is producing these so quickly that the quality isn't there like it used to be. Think they're just producing the coins for the buyers market so they can make a buck off of us.

What statehood quarter is it?
