I have really liked the AT Pro since going with it about a month ago. Although today it really impressed me. I was hunting an area I have hunted before and found about buck and half in clad. Then I came upon a soft signal. Faint but repeatable at 82-83 none-the-less. My machine said 10+ inches but have learned that it is always more shallow. So I dug down 8 inches and used the pinpointer-nothing. Dug alittle deeper and the pinpointer started chirping. At this point I wasn't too excited as I expected it to be a dime but probably a rosie and if at all lucky a silver rosie. Well I dug another larger scoop out and the pinpointer didn't go off in the hole but did in the pile I scooped out. Using the pinpointer I sifted through reaching the strongest signal. Then I knew right away it was silver-rosie? Maybe a merc if I'm luck. Well I'm real lucky as it turns out. The AT Pro was able to "see" an 1897 Barber at 9 inches--YES! First 1800 coin for this year and hopefully more. Apparently I wasn't careful enough as you can see on the obverse a scratch I put in it. It is actually more pronounced than the picture shows
