Imperial Treble Gilt Flat Button

I'm building a house on a point here in Maine and decided at lunch I might as well walk down and check it out. They also own an island there that was inhabited in the early 1700s. I've been working 7 days and have been a bit depressed with my lack of detecting . Dug a few things at lunch and thought I had nothing but I realized I had a flat button then realized there were some words on the back. It has Imperial Treble Gilt on it. Any help with id is much appreciated. And maybe this job will pay off in two ways :-)

Thanks Casper! Yeah I didn't figure it was great button but at least it shows some history there . I'm really excited to get myself on there island. I know that's got some great history

Rick I couldn't me more disappointed but I gotta keep the rich people happy! This weekend is just me and my T2! No work for this guy. I can't wait :-) hopefully I will have some good stuff to post. Hopefully half as good as your normal finds
