I found this object in association with an number of others down a steep hillside: http://www.treasurenet.com/forums/t...perial-relic-very-high-steep-stream-bank.html
It is 5.75" long and about .75" in diameter.
It is chrome or silver plated inside and out.
There is a wood core.
The tip is screwed in place and the larger diameter end is held with an adjustable band.
It is marked IMPERIAL with an older style font of lettering.
My first thoughts are part of an adjustable tripod leg.
Others have suggested some sort of syringe because there is a company that has been around for quite awhile that made syringes. Could the wood core have functioned as a primitive plunger?
I am thoroughly stumped...
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thanks and Happy Hunting!
