Im new to Treasure hunting and prospecting for Gold

Like the tile to this post Im new at everything After 45 years of law enforcement. 20 with LAPD and 25 with the state of Okla. I retired in Palm Springs. Now I have a itch to Treashunt and dig around in the hills. I d0n't like going out by myself and don't really no where to go. Si I would like to go with someone . or jont a club near by Thanks.
