I'm hooked for life!
Now i know it won't always be this easy.
Went to check my P.O.Box today and my tesoro compadre was there. I brought it home, read the instructions and had her together in less than a half hour. I threw a small bolt in the floor and turned it on it wanted to beep every 1/2" (pipes and nails in the floor i'm guessing) so i took it out in my backyard and turned it on. it did the 5 sec beep to make a battery check then i held it out over the grass and got a signal! I thought this cant be right. so i swung over the spot and it kept giving me a signal, so I dug and out jumped 2 pennies i made another sweep over the hole and there was still a signal so i dug some more and found a nail, then another nail then 2 more pennies! all within a 1'x1' area. I didnt do the rest of the yard wich i am getting ready to do shortly. I mean when i stretched my arm out, bang there was a signal, i didnt even begin to swing! I'm hooked for life now. I cant wait to do around some old buildings and such.

the pennies were nothing specail there was an 89, 68 and the other two were in such bad shape I couldnt read it. all were about 3" down. when i got done i had a hole 1'x1'x3". I was digging with a screwdriver and didnt cut a good plug so there is a brown spot in the grass about a foot off the patio .
