I'm Guessing a Button? SOLVED

Found this in an old school yard yesterday. Along with some square nails. The back had all five prongs on it when I put it in my keepers side of my pouch.... The "jewel" on it doesn't chip when I scratch it. I thought it was talc at first but I guess not. Anyone see something like this before?
