I'm beginning to hate pipefitters, heh

How many times have you gotten a solid signal, only to dig, and see what appears to be a lovely ring, only to reach down and find it's a ring of copper pipe that was trimmed off and discarded.

Found 3 of these today alone. I figure I can't be the only one.

that little ring of copper is prob worth at lest 10 zinc pennies! do u throw away coins. keep all copper and brass it does add up over time and can be taken to the dump for cash

You are not alone! i have found 2 of them in my back yard But if your machine is telling you
that is a ring ,then your next dig may just be one

I tend to listen to the signals not read the screen. They come up as a quarter or silver ring would for me in tone.

(i've got gold and pulltabs rejected just because I have more fun not digging them, if I miss some gold jewelry then oh well )
